HKUST FinTech Club Founded

“I am regularly asked about FinTech as an area of study. Business schools are more and more focusing on financial technology, or FinTech, to help MBA students to acquire new skills. This comes as digital innovations continue to disrupt long-standing financial structures and change the way that traditional financial instruments are used” (Prof. Tay-Yuan Chen, Associate Dean and Director of the MBA Programs at HKUST Business School).

With Hong Kong being both, a financial and innovation hub, MBA from Intake 2018 took the initiative and founded the first ever HKUST MBA FinTech Club. The FinTech Club is constantetly interacting with the FinTech scene in Hong Kong, also leveraging the network that HKUST is offering in this industry. Find out more about their activities in the first newsletter of the FinTech Club.
